Currently Senior at Michigan Technological University working on a degree of Biological Sciences with an option in Plant Sciences Some Interesting Courses IÕve taken: Plant Morphology, Physiological Plant Ecology (BL521)*, Plant Taxonomy, Techniques in Genetics, Paleoecology, Microbiology, Limnology, Mycology, Virology, Population Genetics, Microbial Ecology Took Calculus Series 150-250 with Mathematica Intensive *=currently taking Past Jobs: Worked as Camp Store Manager at a Boy Scout Camp one summer. Worked at a Grocery Store at various times as either stock or a janitor. Pruned Christmas trees for a few weeks. Worked in Work Study for Biology Department last summer under Tom Rodeheffer doing various maintenance and moving stuff around. Received MSDS Training. Current (During the school year) job: While taking the Calculus and Mathematica Series I learned enough Mathematica so that I was asked to be a lab consultant in the computer labs. Besides I have also been answering questions concerning UNIX in general and also the MacIntoshes as they come up. I also had the opportunity to work as a TA for one of the MA160 lab sections for one term. Other Miscellaneous activities: IÕve volunteered as a UTA for one of Janice GlimeÕs BL101 lab sections. Been a representative of the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) for one year. I was president of the Model United Nations Club at MTU. I have been a part of the Wind Symphony, Bioclub, and PFRC at various times at MTU. Other Miscellaneous Skills: I have worked fairly extensively with the MSDOS MSWindows (3.x) and MacIntosh Operating Environments. I have a fairly good idea how to use the UNIX operating system. I have just started working with OS/2 3.0 (Warp) and Windows95 operating environment. I have some programming knowledge in C++ and Basic (as well as Mathematica). I know HTML at a pretty good level (enough to come up with a pretty good page fairly quickly anyway) and I have not yet taken the time to learn how to use some of the newer stuff like Java and Frames. IÕve had some Life Guard Training and First Aid and CPR training at various times. I am not currently certified. I can swim pretty good. I can sometimes sketch things okay. I can drive a car safely (no tickets after almost 5 years of driving). Some Miscellaneous Awards: Eagle Scout. Michigan Competitive Scholarship (because I had an ACT of 29).
